Club Information

The Sterling British Motoring Society will celebrate their tenth anniversary this June and can boast of over 40 members who's bond is British made cars. Our club is regional in nature and members come from all over Central and Eastern Kentucky. Marques represented include Austin-Healey, Bentley, Jaguar, Rolls Royce, Triumph and a host of MG's from a TD to an MGB GT. The club is an avenue for networking and learning about the peccadilloes of these cars in a relaxed surrounding and, most importantly, among friends.

The focus of this club is not for show, but to experience the driving pleasure of these vehicles in safe and supportive group outings. Day trips along the scenic back roads of Central and Eastern Kentucky where a plethora of unexpected beauty unfolds around every new curve is the backdrop for club outings. There is always an outing planned. While club is in it's infancy, we already have quite a following!

The club's first road rallye was held in 1997 and was well attended and received rave reviews. The event, named the Rudi Reutz Road Rallye or 4R after our friend Rudi, who taught us about rallyes and painstakingly planned the first outing, should become an annual event.
